BACK TO THE START

29 NOVEMBER 2004. MONDAY. 10:30PM.

After a fabulous weekend, i'm back at work working 12 hour days. I guess its the yin and yang balance of life - too much fun and games on sunday, equally as much work to do on monday. After much endless pleads and blatant begging from me and people i have recruited to do likewise, we finally convinced Shane to re-open up his 'family estate' for us to hangout this summer. This time we even had the bonus tour of the 'main house'and graduated from hiding out in the granny flat (it's next to the pool, no one is complaining) to actually meeting his mom and dad, plus the 3 dogs. Jason whipped out his Star Wars Limited Edition Monopoly boardgame and we battled for the next 4 hours till there was only 2 left standing with enough star wars real estate to buy over the whole Trump Empire. I'm finding it very hard to get into the swing of festivities. It has to be the weirdest feeling to believe it's almost christmas in this summer heat. It messes with your head so much. It kills all chrissy joy for me. I want snow and all things white and flaky (please don't laugh and say dandruff. I know you're thinking of it!). Does anyone have big plans for the hot hot hot holidays?
