Phew ... finally a breather. It's been a whirlwind couple of weeks with weddings, trips, parents visiting (again), work, catching up, farewells and a whole damn lot of eating out! The only thing i can muster to chow down now is clear soup or crisp garden salad with light vinaigrette dressing. Anything else ... i cringe. Which come to think of it is a funny thing to say 'cos tomorrow night, i'm booked in for a farewell peking duck dinner - farewell to the housemate (it's a week long farewell-palooza), as well as farewell to the only yummy duck place we know. Before i left for my trip to melbourne, i received a wonderful care-package from a new 'internet' friend who writes here. It was filled with wonderfully illustrated stickers, postcards, candy and other goodies. Now i know there are clusters of very talented online crafters who are knitting mittens, sewing totes, baking cookies, making jam, turning scrap-paper into award-winning origami, who frequently trade and swap with each other. But me, on the other hand, with no crafty bone in my little fingers have only home-made badges and free lanyards from work to return the favour. I am the crafters swap list's worst nightmare!
