The craziness of the weekend that went has finally been put to bed. I reckon it should have a well deserving long snooze, just like the rest of us who were part of the celebrations. Unfortunately, i spent my first rest day back here on my feet for 9 hours, being a total mall rat. Anyway, back to the huge wedding weekend. My saturday started at 5am bright and early, joining in the festive traditions and collecting plenty of celebratory red packets along the way (which was so unexpected! Who knew there would be perks included?) Everything ran like clockwork, i even managed to sneak in a quick snooze before heading out for post-wedding drinks at a bar. Two hours of free drinks and more drinking after that left us searching for the missing groom only to find him face down in the toilet and ringing in a his birthday with nothing much else but his dinner re-appearing again. Thankfully i didn't have a hangover the next day. Spent the arvo drenched in torrential rain which is not a good look for a fancy dinner. Rocked up for dinner rehearsals and prayed that the wedding montage dvd worked. It did. And i rock. Cupcakes for pre-dinner birthday celebrations for the groom, cued in for the big whiz bang slideshow, the newlyweds walked in and my work here is done. It's all stress free from there on, dinner over, managed to talk my way out of another post-wedding drinking (the sequel) and headed home for a well-earned sleep in. PHOTOS HERE.
