I remember watching this guy on Oprah and watched his 'lecture' on her show. It was inspiring and relevant. Then i forgot about him until a sleepless friday night and trolling thru the internet that I found out he has passed yesterday. I couldn't recall much of what he said so i googled it and watched this version instead. It's alot longer than the one he gave on Oprah, but funnier and much more insightful into his life and his work (he helped pioneer the building of Virtual Worlds) which inspired alot of his students. Perhaps virtual reality (VR) was dabbled and explored in my university days or perhaps my short stint teaching at the university made me ponder what my "Last Lecture" notes will say, I was engrossed and watching it till the early hours of the morning. If you haven't seen this and preserver the hour long lecture, when you get to the end, you will never forget the words.
