It's been a week where the heat just won't stop. Sunday beers at Mad Monk sounded good.
I arrived lethargic and totally in need of a pick-me-up. I couldn't decide between a coffee or a beer so i ordered both, hoping one would bring me back to life.
Someone alerted me that the chef had big paella pans cooking away at the front of the bar. It came looking good but it didn't match the awesomeness i had from a paella 4 years ago. The search continues.
After a long lunch and a couple of pints later, we took a walk around in the 37 degree heat and finally took refudge in the cool bookshop where i checked out some travel books in time for my trip next weekend. Not that i needed more help, i've been to Melbourne 3 times before.
